For that reason, I do have frequent litters in an attempt to keep up with the growing demand for healthier blue Staffords. How we started.

I got my first Staffordshire Bull Terrier, Tempo, in 2010 as a rehome. Coming from border collies, a Stafford was quite a change but I was hooked on this feisty breed immediately! Unfortunately, when Tempo arrived it was immediately evident that she had a limp and upon further investigation it was discovered she had a bad hip. A really bad hip. She went in for surgery a couple weeks later and never woke up. She was only three years old. I contacted her breeder, who took absolutely no responsibility for the issue. At that moment I knew what I had to do: Work to improve this lovely breed by breeding healthy dogs that have been health tested and stand behind what I produce. I took a few years to do my research and in 2015, Wild Blue Staffords was born. To this day, I am the only breeder in the USA that focuses on improving the quality of blue Staffords specifically by bringing in top quality dogs with impressive pedigrees from around the world and checking HC, DM and L2HGA status, as well as hips and elbows prior to breeding.
